• Good working relationships with several specialist outsourcing lawyers at major law firms;
• Ability to manage complex projects and engage with both blue chip organisations in the public and/or private sector and suppliers at a senior level;
• Demonstrable experience and success in creating, developing and securing IT outsourcing consultancy/advisory work;
• Well developed general consulting skills, probably developed at a major consultancy;
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage and lead teams of advisors and specialists, whether they are colleagues, client personnel or other external contractors and advisors
• Experience of outsourcing in the Financial Services Sector and the Public Sector will be an advantage.
The responsibilities will include some or all of the following:
• Managing complex end-to-end client-side IT outsourcing advisory engagements, liaising with colleagues in other domain areas whilst ensuring delivery, overall quality, client communication, engagement budgeting and financials;
• Establishing, maintaining and leveraging strong long term client relationships;
• Establishing, maintaining and leveraging strong law firm and ITO supplier relationships;
• Leading and/or making significant contributions to sales activities including proposals, identifying follow-on opportunities during the course of engagements;
• Thought leadership and development of IP within chosen area of expertise;
• Practice management including presenting to own and other domains on current issues, specialist areas, new internal requirements.
