Job Description

If you are a focused restructuring professional who is looking for something different then this niche, established advisory boutique may hold the key to an exciting new future for you.  You may be feeling under-valued for your efforts, frustrated by bureaucracy, conflicts of interest or internal politics or may simply be looking for a change of outlook and environment and a meeting of minds.  Forward-thinking and agile, the firm has a long history of delivering clear, creative and innovative solutions to an extensive range of restructuring, corporate advisory, insolvency and special situation assignments, often complex, cross-border and challenging in nature.  With a strong emphasis on putting the client first, a team of leading industry experts with differing skill sets drive and execute the majority of work through the City of London office.  However, the firm also benefits from its international reach with operations and a physical presence in locations such as the Channel Islands, Cayman, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the Emirates.  These assignments range from core restructuring and insolvency to business reorganisations, distressed M&A and disputes and investigations across all industry sectors but with an additional growing focus on funds and asset management. Anticipating and planning for growth, the firm is currently seeking to appoint ambitious, like-minded professionals who can complement and add to its capabilities and service offerings.  A wide remit invites serious applications from committed restructuring and insolvency professionals who are seeking a challenging and rewarding long-term career alternative which encompasses job-satisfaction, lifestyle, working practice and financial reward.  You are likely to be a qualified ACA, CA, ACCA, JIEB or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in relevant areas of work.  A knowledge of Funds and Asset Management would be useful but is not a prerequisite. You will currently be operating at a minimum of Manager level through to Director or Partner level in the restructuring team of a recognised professional services firm or consultancy.  You should be commercially aware and client-focused with an entrepreneurial outlook, strong business development skills and a desire to become a key contributor to, and beneficiary of, a growing team.  The environment is provided for you to exercise and showcase your skills and talents and be recognised and rewarded for your efforts.  Salary package is highly competitive by industry standards and can be flexibly structured and tailored according to levels and circumstances.  Core opportunities are London based though applications will be considered for candidates currently based in the other above-mentioned jurisdictions.  Other valid and realistic scenarios where a business case can be justified will also be considered.
